Sorry for the day delay in posting ... we have finally been able to establish the ticket prices for the 10 Year High School Reunion.
As mentioned in a previous post, purchase of a Reunion Ticket is necessary to attend the reunion. You are also able to purchase a Reunion Ticket + Drink Ticket, which will allow you to receive a wristband upon admission to receive drinks at the open bar for the entire 4 hour reunion time. If you do not drink or plan on drinking, it is not necessary to purchase a Drink Ticket. The Reunion Ticket price includes costs for appetizers, a buffet dinner, and refillable soft drinks, iced tea, and coffee as non-alcoholic beverage options.
As an additional option, we are offering 'Couples" tickets. As many people plan to bring a spouse, significant other, friend, or date, this option allows an additional discount to classmates by purchasing tickets as a 'pair' in advance. Likewise, if you and another classmate would like to take advantage of the "Couples" ticket discount, this is allowed! When you purchase your ticket, you will just need to note the name of the other classmate receiving that other couple ticket.
As also mentioned previously, we will be having an "Early Bird" special on tickets. We hope to open up ticket sales by Friday, November 22. There will be an option to purchase online via your PayPal account as well as mail in a personal check made payable to GLSHS Class of 2003. A link will be posted once the PayPal account is up.
The Early Bird Prices will be available until Cyber Monday (December 2, 2013). Starting on Tuesday, December 3, tickets will be available for a standard purchase price. If you know you plan on coming, it is definitely best to make sure and take advantage of the ticket discounting and order your tickets during the Early Bird Special!
Below are the breakdown options for tickets. There are 4 types of tickets - Note below the prices for the Early Bird Special versus the Standard Ticket price. We did our best to keep the ticket prices as close to face value as possible. This ensures you are only paying for your dinner, drinks, and gratuity/taxes related to those items. The Ligonier Country Inn is happy to provide their banquet menu to anyone in order to see that our ticket prices directly reflect only fees associated with dinner, drinks, and gratuity/taxes.
We hope to have the Chinese Auction and 50/50 raffle fundraising at the reunion in order to secure more funds in advance for future reunions. This would allow us to discount all ticket prices, have a DJ, and also offer other perks in the coming years.
